She has helped the children of economically backward people residing in the Atuvampatti village of the Kodaikanal district by giving free education, uniforms and mid-day meals. She started this free school under the name of MY SCHOOL SATYA SURABHI trust in 1999 and now it has grown to 160 students. She says that educating the children of economically backward society of the hill/plantation workers has given her soul satisfaction.
