The article in Dinamalar-madurai
Dinamalar-Madurai writes about our free school in Kodaikanal, a non-profit venture that imparts quality education. The review in Tamil says that the best service is for education. Educating one child is better than building a thousand Dharamshalas. Mrs. Padmini has made this dream of Bharathiar come true. She has helped the children of economically backward people residing in the Atuvampatti village of the Kodaikanal district by giving free education, uniforms and mid-day meals. She started this free school under the name of MY SCHOOL SATYA SURABHI trust in 1999 and now it has grown to 160 students. She says that educating the children of economically backward society of the hill/plantation workers has given her soul satisfaction.

My School Satya Surabhi, Kodaikanal, managed by Satya Surabhi Trust celebrated its 12th annual day on March 23. The students showcased their talents and expertise in Yoga, Kathak and other cultural activities. Trained by Yoga Guru Narayanan and Nirmala the students displayed their excellent yoga skills. Jigyasa Giri, a renowned kathak exponent taught the students nuances of kathak dance.
My School Satya Surabhi provides free quality, value based education to rural children. The ethos of the school is to give opportunities to poor children to create an environment for the overall development of mind and body, so that the students realise their full potential as useful, responsible and successful individuals. The unique feature of this school is that it imparts education in Tamil and English, making the child adept in both languages.
