We invite you to join hands with us to actualize the dream of My School Satya Surabhi.
You can participate in a myriad ways: financial support to build the corpus, donations to expand the school building, with your time and your expertise in various fields of interest to the children.
Although we now have a beautiful spacious building, there is a need for more resources by way of a library room, laboratory and few more classrooms. We have the vision and the inspiration for such infrastructure. We now need your support for these and for the following ongoing annual expenses.
Land for the school (approx 50 cents) has been donated by our school Correspondent Mr. Ram Mani. The school building literally grew brick by brick, thanks to donors, friends, other young students and corporate well wishers. Our uniforms are donated every year by RCC, Chennai, rice and wheat for noon meals by RYA Metro, Chennai, classroom furniture by SBI, Chennai.
ANNUAL EXPENDITURE:
- Noon meals for one child for 1 year (excluding rice and wheat): INR 2000
- One child’s tuition fee for 1 year: INR 3500
- Computer Maintenance, Peripherals: INR 24000
- Books and Teaching Material for 1 year: INR 30000
- One teacher’s salary for one year: INR 60000
- General Maintenance and Stationary: INR 25000
- Corpus fund: Any amount is welcome
Apart from the above, we also need the following for now:
CFL daylight bulbs – yellow light – 20 watts!
We have a cute library but need funds for the staircase – Rs 15,000.
