Our school admissions are secured by our parents even before we are born into the world. But there are children out there who do not know the joy of waking up every morning & saying ‘Bye Mom, I’m off to school’! They have to go to work, most often in terrible conditions or stay at home & look after their younger siblings while their parents go to work!
In a little village in kodai called Attuvampatti, there is a small school which gives free education to more than 150 children. It was started by a lady who could not bear to see children toiling in the fields or wasting away their time because their parents did not have the money to send them to school.
She called it “My School Satya Surabhi”… so that every child who studies there will have a place to call “MY SCHOOL”. For many years the school has been functioning in a cute little shed. However, today thanks to the support of generous donors, we have a spacious school house with well lit classrooms and two playfields.
We now need a library room to house all the books we have, a laboratory and a few more classrooms. So friends, do come forward and pitch in. Remember that in GIVING, you not only add a silver lining to someone else’s life, but a bright one to your own as well!
So let’s help build the lives of many with the bricks of faith and pride in an awakened India, where every brick counts, WHERE EVERY CHILD MATTERS.
